Edmond Community

The City of Edmond is part of Oklahoma County, Oklahoma located in the heart of the state along Historic U.S. Route 66. One of the fastest growing cities in the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area, Edmond is home to approximately 72,000 residents. As the highest elevation point in the central part of the state, the city was originally named Summit and was primarily a watering and sanding point for the railroad.
